FAQs

We offer our agents a real time cruise booking engine that you can use on your own website.  There is a monthly cost to use to the engine. 

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that we have listed below:

What cruise lines can I book?

There are 11 Online Cruise Lines that your client can make a real time booking.  In addition, there are 10 Offline Cruise Lines that your customer can book, however, these bookings will not be confirmed.  You will have to call in the booking to the cruise line in order to confirm.  The client will be aware if the cruise line is an offline cruise line.

What CLIA number are the bookings made with?

All the cruise bookings are made using our CLIA number and you will earn commission based on our level with each cruise line. 

The engine DOES NOT allow us to interchange your CLIA number into the engine.  We have had some agents request this option and we are not able to apply your CLIA number.


How much Commission do I earn?

You will earn 85% of our gross commission level?  We earn 16% commission on most of the cruise lines and therefore you will earn about net 14% for each booking.


What are the fees with each booking?

There is only a $10 transaction fee per booking that is passed on to each agent and deducted from the commission.  This fee is a wash as it is our cost for each online booking.  There is no other charges to use the engine.


How am I notified about bookings?

After the booking occurs, we will forward you a confirmation to notify you of a booking.  This will include the client's phone number and email address.  The confirmation will also provide the booking information which will include the particulars of the cruise.


How do I manage the booking?

You will be able to log into the cruise line's agent booking engine and look up the reservation.  However, you must have a registered log with us for each cruise line in order to manage the booking.

How do my clients get their eDocs?

Since you are the agent, you are responsible to either print the eDocs or to send the client to the cruise line website to log in and access their eDocs.


Can the client pay only a deposit on cruise?

Yes, the client can pay only the deposit if that option is available by the cruise line based on when the sail date.  When a client pays a deposit you will then have to follow up with the customer to make final payment. 


Can the client hold the cruise booking?

No, the client can not hold a reservation.  They can either making a booking or research the cruise.


Can the client purchase air?

Yes, as part of the booking process, the client can purchase air directly from the cruise line and you will be notified if the client has purchased air.


Can the client purchase travel insurance?

As part of the booking process the engine allows your client the option to purchase travel insurance which is provided by Travel Guard.  It is not provided by the cruise line and is under our account number with Travel Guard.


Can I customize the engine?

The cruise engine allows us to customize the engine to the client with your information as their call to action.

We are able to include your phone number and a Home tab that returns the customer back to your website as part of the engine.

We will not have any contact with your client.
