Apple Vacations Mexico Information

The FAA just raised the Safety Rating for Mexico to a Category 1, the highest safety rating possible!
Will you hear about that on the 6 o'clock news? Probably not.
A Category 1 rating means the country’s civil aviation authority completely complies with ICAO standards.
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced on 12/1/10 that Mexico complies with international safety standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), based on the results of a November FAA review of Mexico’s civil aviation authority.

The most common misconception about Mexico is the assumption that because violence is happening in one location, it's happening all across the country. With a country nearly 3 times the size of Texas, this is clearly false. The trouble is that some visitors don't realize the incredible size of Mexico and the sheer distances between it's tourist destinations and other cities.

Did you know...
