• To use your own domain name you first purchase a domain name through any domain name registry or go to www.bookmytravel.com/domain to buy a domain name if you don't own one.
   
• Make sure that the domain name registry points your domain name to the IP address below.  Do not use Domain Masking but make the change to what is called the A record.  An A record is the most common type of DNS resource record. It tells a DNS server what IP address to map a host name to. With an A record, you can set www.yourname.com to point a specific IP address.
   
• This number below is a static IP address of a virtual server and will not resolve anywhere, which means if you type the IP address (67.199.6.249) into a web browser you will get The page cannot be found (this is OK and let your domain company know that if they ask this question.)
   
• DNS pointment usually takes up to 24-48 hours to complete (usually less time) 
   
• to setup properly we need to know your personalized (vanity) domain name so we can load the name into our admin back engine which you fill out the form below for this to work.

UPDATED SERVER ADDRESS

Provide us with your personalized domain name (www.yourname.com) that you have registered and the bookmytravel account name (www.bookmytravel.com/xxxx) we gave you so we can do our part.  Provide only the xxxxx part of that domain name.  Make sure you check that it works so we can easily find your account.  Please provide your full name, your email address and the company you registered (registrar) the domain with.

Once you click on the Submit Form button above you will be taken back to this form.  Please DO NOT fill out again as you should receive an email confirmation that we have received your request. 

Note that if you cannot get your domain name to work, you will still be able to access your website using www.bookmytravel.com/xxxxx which is the "Free domain Name of Website". Any changes you make to your domain name may take several days to take effect. This is due to the nature of how domain names work on the Internet. It takes this time to propagate (copy/refresh) the names through the Internet.
